Back in 1993, the local lumberyard in West Bend, Iowa was failing financially. A local farmer, Harley Bruellman, put down 160 acres of his land as collateral and then got others to invest in Community Lumber Supply, Inc. Approximately 70 different investors have purchased shares truly putting the community into Community Lumber Supply. Greg Blair was approached by Harley to manage the lumberyard. He has successfully led Community Lumber Supply for 30 years!
